You know
You know your still alive when you can feel pain
Even though the walls are closing in, feel strain
All of the pressure and the pounds, feel change
Eyes bursti ng out your head, don't you feel strange
You know your still alive when you hear sounds
Stay away from the light, no white clouds
Cause your not done with this hell, life goes rounds
Time seems to speedup never slows down
You know your still alive when you smell fresh air
Filling your lungs with hope, no despair
Every molecule of oxygen, helps to repair
We poison our air everyday, don't we care
You know your still alive when you taste blood
Your not facing dirt yet, taste mud
You have to hold your head high, aim up
Enjoy your rise to the top, before death claims us
You know your still alive when you keep your senses
Live long, grey hairs, wrinkley skin, needing dentures
Listen closely to life and you can live the lecture
Have your name up with the clouds, and be the spectrum
