Fish Out of Water 

Trying to get off but the roller coaster won't stop 

Words are emotions when they hit it's like a bombs dropped 

Sinking to solid, I'll be waiting for my ears to pop 

Time spent is gone, got me feeling like I'm lost 

Cause words are just empty promises with no weight 

No action behind lips that move, just a bare face 

Hooked on a string no piranhas just pariahs caught in their gape 

Alt F - 4, tell me what can make me escape…

Its to late, mistakes and complaints 

But they've never thought to think about how they violate 

The things that happen, the motions make the chest drain 

My heart can't on take, the anger gives me chest pain 

So why try find comfort in a bosom or a breast 

Where wisdom is not present, no compassion in their head 

They smile as they sleep, no thirst for their bread 

They know not my reality, they've never seen or heard this red

Or was it all an act
I'm not working with all the lies
All I need is all the facts
I'm trying to dress us all in white
Don't try and dress us all in black
Because fickle is not for me
And neither is a heart attack
I'm not trying to fade away with heartache
Just to wait for you to run back
You're half of this one
And I know I may have caused a crack
You're no burden to my life
You belong in my arms, in my grasp upon my lap

My wisdom stems from you

Thinking bout my time, and ways I cannot waste it

I can see ambition, its about time that I've gained it

Sit the trophy of my life in plain sight and say I've made it

Because the dark tried to claim my life, but look! See! They cannot claim it

Explain this. Who you are? And what lifestyle are you entertaining?

Do you feel cursed by the suns rays? Is your pain washed away when its raining?

Do you try or do you do? Or do you sit melancholy complaining?

Do you crush oppressors doubts, when you're clearly under estimated?

Rearrange things. Know that you'll soon be driving spaceships

Don't be a product of your environment, excuses are for the aimless

Use the fundamental truths; reason, and release yourself from cages

Persistence will give us our last laugh

Sometimes I wish the world was paradise so we could all be perfect 
But eyes and minds they speculate and make lives feel worthless 
Love is like a time bomb its  ticks and tocks keep turning 
Until it all errupts, and leaves the owners hurting 

So it's burning, the shrapnel in my chest
When all I could ever dream of is being peaceful in your breast
When being pressed, we are something unbelievable 
Look how far we've come, the world to conquer's still achievable 

Believe the fool, or leave the fool
Salty tears still flow, drown my sorrows in a teary pool
School never ready for me this, heartache wasn't on the curriculum 
My life is topsey turvey, I have lost my equilibrium

Lost the sight of light in the gun show and the fire fight
You're my compass in the wilderness, in a sea of darkness you're my fire flies
So forget the lies, I broke my own heart
Misery won't take away the pain and neither will a new start

So I'd prefer to climb the ladder, and continue on our path
Because the only way is forward, persistence will give us our last laugh

I live the Circle of Life

I live the Circle of Life
I didn't want to be in their shoes
I was comfortable in mine
I didn't want to preserve the love
I'm not the sort you soak in brine
They always though i had screws loose
But it was never a matter of time
They had done it once before
But it was never consider a crime
Was life really worth all this?
I've learn't to swallow my pride
Finding it hard to see through heavens eyes
Cause I'm human, so the way i decide
And the decisions that I make
Depend on sin, sin provides
I'm human, I'm imperfect
Now theres no need to read inbetween the lines
Stare life in its face
And suss out all the lies
Have to smile once in a while
More often than when I'm high
Jump for joy, grin teeth
More often than I cry
Go to sleep and wake up
And remind myself...I live the Circle of Life
